Ukrainian Cooking Night

The Redrawn team gathered at the Clarence Park Community Centre together to learn how to make Ukrainian food. Viktoriia Petrenko, Tanya Lenyk and Talia Dent demonstrated how to make Varenyky, Borscht and Ukrainian meatballs. Everyone had a go and it was great to sit down together and taste our hard work. Cocktails, singing, dancing and learning Ukrainian swear words made for some fun memories. By opening opportunities to people from all walks of life, Redrawn staff have had a great opportunity to learn about a new language and culture. Viktoriia and Tanya have been learning skills valuable for designing infrastructure while mastering the English language. We are lucky to have them both on the team.

The venue is operated by the City of Unley, one of Redrawn’s first clients. It was good to give back to a council that cares about inclusion and has supported a more diverse engineering workforce.

Slava Ukraini!
